I'm C. S. Churton, and I'm the author of the TalentBorn and the Druid Academy series.

Writing is a passion for me, and one that I'm thrilled to be able to share with you. I've loved putting pen to paper (figuratively speaking, because honestly, no-one can read my handwriting, not even me!) ever since I was a child, trying to recreate the magic of the many books I grew up reading - and there were a lot of them. I devoured anything I could get my hands on (and, indeed, still do).

I spent a lot of years writing for my own enjoyment, and I'd been writing fiction for over a decade before I even considered publishing my first book, TalentBorn: Awakening. It's an intensely personal thing to share this whole world that you have created with someone you've never met, a peek inside my own life, hopes, and dreams. To any aspiring authors out there, I'd say just do it - write fan fiction, write for your own amusement, just write, write, and write some more, and one day you'll find you have a story you need to share with the world. That's how Anna's story came about, and Lyssa's, and I know they will be the first of many. I hope you'll share them all with me.

In my spare time I can often be found tethered to my laptop (usually with at least one dog trying to climb on me!) working on my latest plot line. In fact, it has been suggested that I might be just a tiny bit obsessed with the world of fiction - and who am I to argue? All I know is that I'm extremely lucky to have found something I love doing, and to be able to share it with such a great group of people. I look forward to continuing to do so for many years to come!
